The Investigators

The Millennium Cohort Study investigators from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, and leading academic institutions, provide their expertise to make this study successful. The Principal Investigator for the Millennium Cohort Study is Dr. Tyler C. Smith.

The SSAC
Study methods, progress, and priorities are reviewed regularly by the Scientific Steering and Advisory Committee (SSAC) of the Millennium Cohort Study. This group includes world-renowned academicians, research experts, and representatives from leading Veterans Service Organizations.

The Staff
Our study research staff is comprised of civilian, military, and professionals from the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. The staff is based at the DoD Center for Deployment Health Research in San Diego, California.
